Much . . . has . . . transpired . . .
It's not all good news. Most of my family survived the pandemic. Though, sadly, my grandmother on my mother's side did not. Much was lost, including her house, and the pastor of our church has since died as well (himself an in-law of my brother). I've had to leave my job, and what a downer entry this is turning out to be!
But other nephews and nieces have since been born, and the church has a new Pastor, and I have taken over the library there, and I have since taken on a new and better job! I went to a nephew's baseball game last night and the past weekend was a 75th anniversary at the church. So, life continues on I suppose. That is the way of things, all throughout history. Generations cycle. Old ones pass away and new ones spring up, and so does this blog.
I think it will be nice to ease back into it again. I've discovered some posts I never did get around to publishing, so they've been saved since 2018. And I plan to go to Lake George again in October, and so we will see how it goes!
